The Vacancy

The Financial Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day financial activity of the Northstone and Letta divisions, the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts, monthly finance board papers, cashflows, forecasts, VAT returns and Statutory accounts. This role has a team of three to manage and be responsible for their development and progression. 

Ensuring accounting procedures are followed, provide Management with information to understand revenue and costs of the division, develop and maintain ad-hoc costs analysis and KPIs.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract, maternity cover

Qualifications / Experience

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with at least 2 years post qualification experience, preferably in industry. 
  • Strong MS excel skills.
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
  • Inquisitive mindset and outlook, with the ability to be a self-starter.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines. 
  • The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business.
  • Experience with COINS software desirable but not essential.
